These lures aren’t designed to catch fisherman, they are designed to catch fish. You wont find any realistic paint jobs or holographic scales just solid colours and simple proven patterns. Each lure is meticulously handcrafted by me and only me. The utmost care is put into making each lure so they will not only catch fish but they will last a long time. Inline spinner baits have proven to catch multiple species of fish better then any other lure - your grandfather used them, and his grandfather probably did as well. With all the new flashy lure on the market a lot of people have forgotten how great this type of lure can be.

What type of fish can I catch with Rockstar Lures?

The simple answer is every type of fish! While my larger lures are made specifically for pike and musky that have caught several species including walleye, smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, rockbass and perch. My smaller lures are perfect for trout and salmon.

How do I use Rockstar Lures?

Contrary to popular belief spinner baits can be fished several ways. You can do fast retrieves or slow retrieves, you can troll them, jerk them or skim them across the surface of the water. It’s important to remember to change the speed of your retrieve, adding the occasional pause to help tempt a fish to strike.

Who is Rockstar Lures?

I guess thats me, Clive Mathias. I grew up in Ontario, Canada where the fish are big and mean. Making lures has been a hobby of mine for years and I feel I have created the prefect lures to catch musky, pike and other aggressive fish around the world.

I started making these lures several years ago because I wasn’t able to find this type of lure anywhere else. There are several big company who manufacture inline spinner baits, but none offered the size, weight and colours I needed. I tested my lures thoroughly on musky and pike, catching several other species along the way.
